About Wizer
Wizer CIC is a lived experience-led organisation committed to transforming the lives of individuals deeply embedded in the justice system. We tackle the root causes of offending such as substance dependency, pro-criminal attitudes, and the absence of positive role models through trauma informed, person centred rehabilitation.

Who We Are
Led by people who’ve lived through the system themselves, we bring authenticity, empathy, and credibility to our work. We believe that those closest to the problem are also closest to the solution, and when empowered, become powerful agents of change.
Our services span advocacy, mentoring, and co-produced interventions that build resilience, foster accountability, and support reintegration. Whether it’s navigating complex systems, accessing vital support, or discovering purpose beyond past convictions, we walk alongside individuals every step of the way.
At Wizer CIC, we don’t just support rehabilitation; we lead a movement to redefine it.
Our Mission
At Wizer CIC, our mission is to break the cycle of reoffending by placing lived experience at the heart of rehabilitation. With over 1 in 4 individuals in England and Wales reoffending within a year—and rates climbing to nearly 1 in 2 for acquisitive offences, the need for credible, trauma-informed support is urgent.
We work with people facing entrenched challenges, addressing their criminogenic needs from unstable housing and addiction to harmful relationships and lack of opportunity. Our approach is built on empathy, co-production, and leadership from those who’ve lived it.
Through tailored mentoring, advocacy, and community-based interventions, we help individuals rewrite their stories. With 89% of people in custody facing lifestyle-related risks, and only 31% securing employment within six months of release, we focus on building the foundations for lasting change: stability, opportunity, and belonging.
We don’t just support rehabilitation, we reimagine it. Because real change happens when lived experience is not just acknowledged but trusted to lead.
Our Work
We aim to provide the tools, support and structure to individuals needed to make sustainable changes. In turn, this breaks the cycle of reoffending and addiction. Our holistic approach increases the chances of long-term rehabilitation by aiming to address the root causes of offending and addiction. The practical support we offer gives individuals a chance to reintegrate into society and live the life they deserve.
