Grimsby Jobcentre are proud to work alongside Wizer, making a meaningful impact in the lives of prolific offenders. Through our collaboration, we have seen firsthand how Wizer’s person-centred approach helps individuals overcome complex barriers to employment, rebuild their confidence, and reintegrate into society with purpose and dignity.
In partnership with Wizer, we have been able to work closely and arrange appointments, so they don’t clash with other organisations, putting the individual at the centre of the various support available. Wizer come into the Jobcentre each fortnight, enabling our Work Coaches to book potential clients for the programme direct to the Wizer Team.

Wizer has worked with the police offender management team since Wizers foundation in Grimsby, they have been a real asset to the offender management team in supporting our cohort of people leaving prison, getting settled back in to the community and wanting to move away from a life of offending and drug abuse opening up vital access to rehab facilities. Their commitment to support is the base of their approach and consistency gains real engagement from their clients, focussing on lived experience workers to be the people who deliver support to their service users as they believe, quite rightly, that they have the best insight in to how the minds of people who are stuck in entrenched offending and substance addiction work as they have been there and have come through it to live an offence and addiction free life. Wizer are a fundamental partner agency to the police offender management unit now and we hope they will be for many years to come.
