PHIRST Evaluation
We are proud to announce that the Public Health Intervention Responsive Studies Teams (PHIRST) from Birmingham and Keele universities are currently evaluating Wizer’s projects supporting prison leavers in Northeast Lincolnshire.
This evaluation will provide local government with insights into service coordination, barriers to engagement, and factors influencing successful outcomes. It will also help inform long-term strategies to ensure more effective support for prison leavers, not just in Northeast Lincolnshire but nationally.
Given the challenges faced by prison leavers, the evaluation adopts a flexible approach, working closely with Northeast Lincolnshire Council (NELC), Wizer CIC (the programme provider) and other relevant agencies, programme recipients, and prison leavers unrelated to Projects Phoenix and Athena.
